Q: What is ShoWest?

A: For over 30 years, ShoWest has been the most prestigious and longest running convention and trade show for the motion picture exhibition and distribution community. Exhibition professionals come to ShoWest for exciting film screenings of major studio and independent feature films slated for Summer release as well as product reel presentations of upcoming product, exciting special events with Hollywood’s hottest stars, educational seminars and to find the latest products, services and technologies at the largest trade show of its kind. Distribution professionals come to ShoWest to network with customers.

A: ShoWest is held at the Paris and Bally hotels in Las Vegas, typically in March.

A: No, ShoWest is a trade event for companies in the movie theatre industry.

Q: Is there a cost to attend ShoWest?

Q: Who is exhibiting at ShoWest?

A: All of the major equipment and concessions manufacturers, suppliers and distributors exhibit at the ShoWest trade show. Please visit the Trade Show & Exhibitor Information section of the ShoWest website for the up-to-the-minute exhibitor list and floorplan.

Q: When will the Schedule of Events be posted on the ShoWest website?

A: The Schedule of Events for ShoWest is posted on the website closer to the show so that we can provide you with the most accurate information possible. Much of the show's content, such as the film screenings, are provided by the movie studios, and they are subject to change. The Schedule of Events is updated weekly on the website, so please bookmark the Schedule of Events page and check back often.

Q: I already go to ShowEast. Why would I need to go to ShoWest?

A: There are many reasons why attending both ShoWest and ShowEast make good business sense. When you attend ShowEast in October, you are able to network with peers, learn about the latest developments and issues in the industry, find vendors at the trade show as well as see many screenings of upcoming holiday films. But what about the rest of the year? By attending ShoWest in March, you are able to continue the momentum you started at ShowEast by meeting with business associates and working with existing vendors and finding new ones at the trade show, continuing your industry education, as well as being able to preview films for summer release. Attending both ShowEast and ShoWest enables you to make smart purchasing and programming decisions for the entire year.

Q: My company may be interested in exhibiting at ShoWest. How do I know if my products are a good fit?

A: Movie theatre owners and operators are always looking for new products, services and technologies to improve their theatres.
